Fraude: el caso Marc Hauser
Supervisor/s: Thomas Sturm
Date of defense: 07-09-2016

One of the key elements that can help us to understand the complexity of modern scientific procedure is fraud. After a brief description of the history of scientific misconduct, this work will focus on one particular case: The Marc Hauser case. Through the analysis of the article recanted by Hauser himself - entitled "Learning by cotton-top tamarins" – we will establish a continuous line through all his work and thus try to justify why Hauser acted as he did. Finally, we will reach to the conclusions and assumptions that seem more relevant to us.
