This research is focused on the polemics about astrology and medicine that took place in Spain from 1724 till 1727, approximately. The three main actors of this public controversies were Benito Feijoo, Diego de Torres and Martín Martínez, three authors deeply studied by historians, although these specific polemics have often been neglected. This thesis dissertation is a case study in history of eighteenth century Spanish science.
