Museum of the History of Medicine of Catalonia


Is a History of Science lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at the UAB and the curator of the Museum of the History of Medicine of Catalonia. At undergraduate level, he teaches “Introduction to the Health Sciences”, with a specialised seminar in the material culture of medicine. At a graduate level he coordinates the module on “Introduction to Research” and teaches on science popularization and medicalization. His research focuses on the study of medicine – the processes of professionalization, training and specialisation, spaces and means of medical knowledge production, and political commitment as part of the genesis and development of modern and contemporary Catalan society.
