Science and its Publics Seminar
Science and its Publics Seminar

Once again, the cycle of seminars "Science and its publics" invites us to a new session. In this occasion, our fossil past and its present social interest are the central topics of the seminar. How are we to interest people on our more remote past? How can we discern among the vulgarization and the scientific divination ofpaleontology? Doctor Marianne Sommer will discuss these issues through an analysis of the importance of entertainment as an educational tool next Wednesday, January 14 (11.00 h), in the seminar of the CEHIC.

Two days later, on Friday, the 16th of January, and in the same place, at 10:00 h., Marianne Sommer will complete her talk with a more extensive session in Oliver Hochadel's company, who will raise the search of our origins as an important chapter in the History of the Science, and Laura Celià Gelabert, who will explain to us how to get people to paleontology museums.
