5è Congrés Internacional sobre Arxius de Ciència, organitzat per CASE i el SAC
SAC 07/03/2009

This conference, the 5th in the series Future Proof, is organised by CASE and the Servei d’Arxius de Ciència, a science archive service coordinated by the Centre d'Història de la Ciència (CEHIC) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. The conference is sponsored by the Commission for Bibliography and Documentation of the IUHPS, the Servei d’Arxius de Ciència, and CEHIC.

In this announcement we provide prospective attendants with practical information regarding transport, accommodation, conference venue, and registration.

Barcelona Airport is well connected to the city centre. The Aerobus is most convenient: it departs from each terminal every 15 minutes and it is a 30 minutes ride to Plaça Catalunya. We recommend you then take a taxi to the conference hotel, even though it is also easily reached by metro (take L4 at plaça Urquinaona, close to Plaça Catalunya, direction La Pau, exit at Barceloneta). More information at:

The conference hotel is a residence hall for researchers close to the sea. It is a 20 minutes walk to the conference venue through the old city; you may also take the metro (L4, Barceloneta, direction Trinitat Nova, exit at Jaume I).
